“Umbrella”
Her father had bought the umbrella recently. It was a beautiful, trendy red umbrella. She was so happy and proud of it and loved it that much that if you had asked, I would say in those moments her umbrella was the most important thing in her little world.
It was pouring cats and dogs, but because of the childish fear of her lovely umbrella being spoiled she couldn’t open her umbrella. She was walking just under the flood of rain drops without daring to open her beautiful and worthy umbrella.
All her hair and little body was now soaked with the rain, but she didn’t want to open her umbrella. She continued her walk and just went on and on till she suddenly saw a little boy just her age. He wasn’t any of her friends, but she felt a strong desire for the boy. He was walking under the rain without an umbrella and he was as soaked as she. A sudden fear, a childish dream and then she was running after him. And then she reached him. Without a moment of hesitation she opened her umbrella and said: “you can stand under my umbrella”
